The importance of cleaning your makeup brushes: tips for healthy skin and flawless makeup.
There is no doubt that makeup brushes are essential tools in our beauty routine. However, if you don't clean them regularly, they can become a breeding ground for bacteria and germs, which can trigger skin blemishes, dryness, blackheads and pimples. Plus, clean brushes not only promote healthier skin, but also allow for better makeup application by preventing color mixing and pigment buildup.
Clean your makeup brushes with our Castile soap
- Generously wet the makeup brush with water.
- Rub it on stain remover stick #3 . You can place it in a container for greater comfort and soap the bristles.
- Rub the soap-soaked brush in the palm of your hand to make sure the bristles are completely soaked in soap.
- Rinse well with clean water, wringing the brush for 2-3 seconds to check that all makeup is gone.
- After making sure your brushes are clean, wring them out and place them on a towel to dry. This prevents water from flowing into the handle!
How often should makeup brushes be cleaned?
The ideal is to clean them after each use to avoid the accumulation of bacteria and makeup residue. If this is not possible, it is recommended to do it at least once a week. It is important to note that brushes used with liquid products and makeup sponges should be cleaned more frequently, preferably two to three times a week, due to their propensity to accumulate impurities more quickly.
In short, keeping your makeup brushes clean is essential for healthy skin and flawless makeup. With the right products and a regular cleaning routine, you can ensure that your brushes remain in pristine condition and contribute to your overall beauty and well-being.
