Ingredients we don't use

Risks of chemical components in household products.

The world of home care has often been built on false promises and uncertain chemicals. Chemical compounds have contributed a lot, but natural ones already have all the properties we need and are much more respectful of ecosystems.

AMMONIUM CATIONS

Ammonium compounds are used in fabric softeners to make clothes appear softer. They are known to trigger asthma attacks and are believed to interfere with our reproductive system.

SYNTHETIC DYES

Artificial colorants can be found in all types of personal care products, soaps and detergents. They are petroleum derivatives and can increase the risk of skin irritation and sensitivity.

PHENOXYETHANOL

It is a synthetic preservative used to extend the shelf life of cosmetic products. Very toxic in high doses and can cause damage to brain cells and the nervous system.

SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCES

Used in a wide range of products under the name 'fragrance' or 'perfume'. They are petrochemicals and known to cause skin irritation along with serious illnesses such as asthma, fertility problems and hormonal interference.

PHTHALATES

It is found in personal care products such as nail polishes and shampoos to help synthetic fragrance last longer. It is a well-known endocrine disruptor, linked to obesity, growth defects, fertility problems and asthma.

METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE

It is a preservative found in supposedly "natural" products such as baby wipes, mouthwashes, hand creams, makeup and cleaning products, which can cause mild skin irritations.

PEGS

They are used in personal care products such as shampoo, body wash, and soap to make the ingredients gentler on the skin. During production, products become contaminated with dioxane, a known human carcinogen.

SILICONES

They are found in personal care products such as lipsticks, hair care and sunscreen to give a "silky feel". It has been shown to be harmful to the environment, causes skin irritations and dull hair.

SULFATES DERIVED FROM PETROLEUM

They are very common foaming agents in shampoos, body washes, hand soaps and laundry detergents. They can cause irritation in skin, rashes, allergic reactions and hormonal disruption.

TRICLOSAN

It is a well-known environmental toxin used for its antibacterial properties and is often found in antiseptic creams, hand sanitizers, hand soaps, and toothpastes. Linked to skin irritation and interference with hormonal function.
